Evernote is here to replace your brain.

(Private Beta at the moment.) A week ago Evernote released their latest creation and it’s not a bog standard software title. This software can be installed on both your home PC or Mac and your converged device, but the exciting thing is that all your information is also available online seamlessly. I have just been given an invite to play with this beta version and I’m looking forward to trying it out. I will be doing a review at a later date. Below I have included some information from the Evernote site to whet your appetite. . .
“We are all constantly bombarded by information, much more than our brains can handle. So, we end up forgetting all sorts of things. With Evernote, you can start capturing all of those experiences, ideas, and memories of your real and digital life that would otherwise slip away. Find it all whenever you need, wherever you are. Every note added to Evernote goes through powerful recognition and indexing servers, which make it possible to find everything. Notes can be found by searching and filtering for:
- Tags and titles
- Typed text
- Text within images
- Dates
- Attributes (does the note contain a web clip, an image, audio, handwriting, and more)”
