BLOG RSS Internet Exporer 6.0 on the Sprint Touch Diamond!
Saturday, January 17th, 2009Looks like the Touch Diamond from Sprint will actually get Internet Explorer 6.0. Previously, Microsoft said that IE mobile 6.0 would only be available on new devices (not existing) due to the changes required in the operating system for it to run.
BUT, over at PPC Geeks, there is an unofficial ROM upgrade available for the Diamond, and it has IE Mobile 6.0 as well as numerous enhancements to other features of the software. As is usually the case, that means an official ROM release is likely very near. Hurray for Diamond owners!
